AMELIA
Piano
Amelia is currently a senior at Connections High School Academy. She has been studying piano for 12 years with her teacher, Dr. Svetlana Transky, at the Colburn School of Music. Amelia has performed in various recitals and was a first-place winner in the SYMF Complete Works Sonata Music Competition, Liszt Piano Competition, Elite Music Competition at Carnegie Hall, and Colibri Competition. She has participated in many musical camps, such as Colburn Piano Camp, Friday night recitals, spring recitals, etc. She loves all genres of music, and her absolute favorite composers are Bach, Ravel, Beethoven, and Kapustin. Amelia has taught some beginners to help them achieve their first steps of becoming successful musicians, and she hopes she can do the same for you!

MARIANNA
Piano
Currently Marianna is a junior at the Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies. She has been playing the piano for eight years. She is the leading pianist in the school’s Advanced Orchestra Class. She has played for many musical theatre performances at LACES. Marianna has received the Young Musicians of Los Angeles Award, and is a member of the Music Students Service League. She believes that there’s more purpose to the art than it’s infinite power to mesmerize. Music is a unifying force.

NOAH
Piano
Hey! My name is Noah, and I am a percussionist for the North Hollywood Marching Band, bassist for the school’s Jazz Band, and a classically trained pianist. I have been playing piano for about 10/11 years now, bass for 5, and percussion for 6. Currently, I am in a band with a couple of friends and I’m hoping to teach kids many different styles of playing. A fun fact about me is that my favorite styles of music are Classical, Funk & Jazz, Metal, and Djent.

TEAGAN
Piano
Teagan is currently a Sophomore at North Hollywood High School. He has been playing music his whole life and playing in an ensemble for 5 years. He plays Piano, Drums, Saxophone, Flute, and has an advanced level of knowledge of music production, and DAW usage. He loves teaching and has been a professional piano teacher for 2 years. He has been composing music for ensembles, and piano for 6 years, and has won composing competitions, as well as applying to the LA Philharmonic Young Composers Fellowship Program. He has taught mathematics, piano, DAW, saxophone, drums, and music theory private lessons, and truly loves doing it. Apart from music, Teagan spends his time volunteering at a youth Comedy Camp, acting onstage, and on film, tutoring students, and doing various creative projects with his friends and peers.
